Stephan Paternot at AVIC

On March 7, 2019, the Amador Valley Investment Club hosted Stephan Paternot, an Internet entrepreneur who co-founded theGlobe.com, which set an IPO record for the largest price gain up till that date during the dot-com bubble.  He has a fascinating and firsthand insight into the dot-com bubble, the nature of bubbles, and entrepreneurship in general.  He was featured in National Geographic’s Valley of the Boom, a 6-part documentary that documents the stories of several dot-com bubble companies, including theGlobe.com.
