On February 17th, 2021, the StreetFins Club Network hosted Commissioner Elad Roisman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Commissioner Roisman is one of the five commissioners of the SEC, making decisions and rules that keep companies transparent, financial markets safe, and investors protected. Prior to being appointed as a commissioner, Mr. Roisman served as chief counsel for the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. He also worked as chief counsel for the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Roisman attended Cornell University, followed by the Boston University School of Law.
