On February 28th, 2021, the StreetFins Club Network capped off its Financial Literacy Month Festivities by collaborating with the Lyons Township High School chapter to host Mr. Andrew Ward, former CIO of Boeing. Mr. Ward spoke to the attendees about his journey to becoming a CIO, what the day-to-day operations were like, what he was responsible for, and some personal experiences. Prior to working at Boeing, Mr. Ward worked at Aon Corporation, where he was tasked with underwriting Aon’s insurance assets. Mr. Ward has always had a special emphasis on alternative investments such as private equity, real estate, and hedge funds, which he maintains to this day. Mr. Ward graduated from Indiana University as well as the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
